Would recommend 10 times out of 10. The staff was so lovely and the accommodations were great. Would absolutely stay here again when I’m in the area.

Really nice guest house. The owners are prepared and ready to help. The room is clean with nice comfortable bed. Good location close to water, town center, and pub/restaurant next door. Overall a wonderful stay.

Absolutely Phenomenal! We loved everything about this beautiful flat within a larger house. It is situated between the Holyhead Rock and the Sea. With farm lands, sheep n goats n horses. The furniture and well built home is something quite worthy and spectacular.

Secluded yet accessible location, lovely furnishings, elegant bathroom, extremely comfortable room, excellent service, fine dining. I would certainly recommend and return if I came back to this area. Top marks!

This review is from an American's perspective. Our first UK/Wales trip. This is a class operation. It is a country house, not a hotel. All rooms were different, very nicely appointed and roomy; comfortable beds. No in-room safe. I don't have any reference from other country houses. But in my opinion, five stars all the way. Common spaces were great. Very nice conservatory, glass on all sides. Formal living room with plenty of seating. Huge, manicured grounds. This is out in the country. Quiet....

Enjoyed my visit here so much we are coming back in two weeks. Rooms are very comfortable, the water view is amazing, the restaurant serves delicious food, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay. The hosts were super accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was personalized and enjoyable. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The lodge is in a great location.

We loved the charm and setting of this hotel. The gardens are beautiful and sit on the banks of he Menai Straits. Each public room is wonderfully furnished with the charm of a French chateau. Our room had the best hotel shower I have ever seen with three different shower heads. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very well done. In particular, I had a halibut baked in pastry that was a real gormet meal.

There's true magic here! The most incredible, memorable experience with magic both inside and outside in the beautiful gardens and grounds. The staff was so kind and went above and beyond to make each moment special for us, we were so amazed and grateful. The rooms were so well kept and peaceful, the best sleep we had in the whole two week trip. The spa and pool was phenomenal, and Thomas the masseuse was incredible and really helped us relax - highly recommend a massage with him! We would, and...

I greatly enjoyed my stay at Black Sheep Lodge. It is a charming bed and breakfast in a convenient location. Hayley was friendly and gave great advice on local dining spots. Highly recommended
