Billy Barker Casino Hotel

"Desk staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. Room was bright and clean. Lovely big pillows but too fluffy for our necks. Wasn’t thrilled about escape porch outside our room. Food in restaurant not the best, especially the open face turkey sandwich. It was something you got at a bargain restaurant. Overall we liked hotel and would stay again"

"The St. George Hitel is a period correct hotel with modern plumbing. The rooms are very small and there is no accommodation for electronics. Thus may not be an issue as long as you are aware. Wifi worked well. The mattress was conformable enough. The included breakfast was very good. The staff were very nice and helpful."

"We were greeted nicely and pleasantly on arrival at 6pm. Armeen was so nice to let us use the breakfast room for our noodles dinner after 10:30 pm on Saturday, after we had a whole day event in Barkerville. The hotel was newly renovated. Pillows and beddings were comfortable and clean. Sill lots of stain marks at the ceiling. In the bathroom, whenever we turned on the tap, foul smell came up from the drain, which made the whole room stink. Room 103,104 & 105. Please check and fix the problem. Got noisy tenants above our rooms upstairs. (Very late at night and then very early in the morning)"
