The room was very clean, and the breakfast was superb. The location was very handy to get into Tropea's old town. I had a car and the hotel had an underground secure car park. All in all it was a great stay.

Everything about this hotel was amazing! Location, cleanliness, the stag were all support helpful. The pool was amazing to relax after the beach. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

Very difficult to find with car GPS (Chinese), OK with Google maps. Great breakfast, great price, very noisy in room for a 5 star, loud A/C, terrible sheets in a firm bed, good pillows, great shower. Would likely stay again should we ever be in the area and price was same.

I rarely leave reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised by how great everything was. From the rooms to the employees. Customer service was great. They helped us with setting up any transportation we needed. They were so friendly. The breakfast was phenomenal. Pool & bar were perfect. Would 100 percent return.

We had a very pleasant stay. The welcome was warm, and all the staff, both at the reception and during breakfast, were genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was a nice bonus. The only downside was the walk to the city centre. There is no sidewalk for part of the route, so you have to walk on the road.

We loved our stay! DOMINICO was very hospitable at the front desk and super friendly. The room was always clean and equiped with everything we needed. The hotel was in walking distance to the main centre which was so convenient for us. THE BREAKY WAS FANTASTIC. Everything home made by the chef. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Tropea!

Good location, very safe, easy access from the train station. Cold water in the swimming pool, but overall excellent experience. Master Giovanni at the breakfast take care about all guests in the morning. Breakfast menu - many choices with surprises. Very clean place.

All the employees were exceptional! The breakfast was amazing and caters to preparing your food. The pool was refreshing and cleaned daily. The staff go out of their way to accommodate the client. So helpful in every way. The premises were clean and it is obvious how hard the staff works. A truly dedicated team. We regret not booking more time at this hotel.

We stayed in Tropea for one week along with cousins from the UK. The daily walks providing views of the town and the crystal blue waters were breathtaking. Our accommodation at Sui-Generis could not be faulted. Rather than being paying guests, the experience felt like staying with family and friends. The staff were polite, friendly, super efficient and always ready to offer guidance when approached for tips regarding restaurants, boat trips or train travel. This hotel is a 10 room facility , with large rooms, a superb , ultra clean pool and only a short walk to the town centre. Breakfasts are prepared by Emanuella and Anna ( try the omelettes). Coffees, teas and food arranged by Giovanni and Michele, along with their rotating shifts attending the needs of the poolside guests. Front of house is serviced by Mima, Manuela and Domenica, with nothing too difficult to handle. The spotless state of the rooms are due to the hard work of Anna and Ketty. The pool is meticulously cleaned by Gabrielle. Our group has no hesitation in recommending this facility, and it is a credit to the owners ; Francesco and Giuseppe. Thank you for making our visit so welcoming and enjoyable.

We just completed a lovely 9 night stay at the Sui Generis. Can't say enough about the wonderful staff, Domenico was such a pleasure and so helpful as was Giovanni at the pool and breakfast. The female staff at desk were lovely as well (sorry that I did not learn their names) as well as the wonderful cleaning staff. The pool and breakfast were both perfect 👌. Something new on the menu every day! The hotel is so conveniently located to both the train station and the old town. Easy to navigate without a car. Would love to return one day. Can not recommend this lovely hotel enough. Thanks Sui Generis
