Arrived yesterday- we completed the arrival form -agreeing to pay extra for certain damages, one of the points was if we smoke in the room we would have up to $500.00 of fees to pay, We were allocated room 208, and up to the 2nd floor, opened the door of the room, to be hit by a very strong smell of smoking and nicotine stench in the room - we set our bags down, and discussed that we would no way be happy with this room, so we went back to the reception to notify them of what we discovered and we were concerned that they would try and charge us, they then allocated room 206, back upstairs, enter the room to discover the stench was like an OLD DIRTY HOUSE - back down again to advise of what we found now - - one of the receptionists explained -they have started decorating the halls in the building - but there are lots of rooms like this as they have not been renovated / decorated in years. NO STAFF MEMBER ASSISTED US TO THE ROOMS. We were allocated room 401 - well this was a little better, not as smelly as 206 - so we gave up complaining - so facilities.... - this room has two double queen beds for FOUR people- ONE chair - One bedside locker - The Kuerig coffee machine has to be plugged in in the bathroom as no socket available, and the TV not working -The breakfast today:- The bacon was VERY CRISPY - The french toast was like rubber and the scrambled eggs were so rubbery we are sure they are still bouncing in the garbage can. They gave us a GRECO gift card for 25.00-Really?

Checking in very easy, quick. Was able to order from the restaurant before it closed and the server was very friendly and helpful getting our order in before the kitchen closed. Great hot breakfast and easy check out. Check out desk staff was super upbeat and friendly.

Staff were friendly and efficient. The renovated room was veet nice and spacious. Since we could not have breakfast because we had to be on the road so early, they kindly offered us a bagged to-go breakfast which was greatly appreciated.

Dinner was excellent and our server, Victoria, was top notch. Very friendly and attentive. the food was excellent but she made even better. Buffet breakfast however was not as good. The quality of the food was below par.

Place was run down, lack of basic amenities usually found in most hotels. Hidden charges at check out. Place is 15 years past updating and very expensive for no value. Canceled future reservations to stay at different hotel. Would not stay there again even if room was free.
