Great place to take an easy walk through the woods and just enjoy some fresh air and down time. I was in the area for a concert and this is just 10 minutes from Athens University, yet felt so remote and secluded. Horses, chickens, and the friendliest dogs all made this even more awesome. “The cabin was amazing. Very clean, hot tub was relaxing, bed was comfy, very quiet, beautiful scenery and everything worked. Only problem was the check in process. Didn't get any info from host. The directions kept taking us to Lost Hollow campground around the corner. We went to Capt. Ron's pizza for some help. We had no cell service to call our host. The pizza guys didn't know where it was either. So we went to the address on Phelps rd at Blue Rose cabins Entrance A and there was an outside……

“Cabin was pretty dirty, no interior lock on the front door other than the coded lock. Listing promised a quiet stay in the woods, it was not quiet. Lots of weird airhorn and men yelling noises. The junk yard right by the property is a real turn off. I left 2 days early, messaged host and never heard back. Overall the cabin was pretty unkept. The hot water runs out mid shower, the quilt had been eaten by a mouse and there were multiple lightbulbs burnt out. The grill was old, rusty and only half……

“Clean, pet friendly cabin found as advertised. Easy access with code. Beds were comfortable. Old worn sofa not pretty, but fine. Paying the extra fees for a one night stay is a negative which prices it beyond its market value, but for pet friendly we found it worthwhile.”
