It has the potential to be great. Check in was good, employees were helpful. However the room wasn't very clean. The pull out mattress had a visible stain on the sheets, finger prints all over the mirror, dirt all over the floor when you walk in and the plumbing situation was terrible. Slow draining tub and toilet. Pool was great, breakfast was terrible. The pancake machine was down, the juice machines pumped out water, cinnamon rolls were still frozen, no milk for cereal. Room was less than average. Ceiling in the BR was spotted with something pink as were the walls around the sink. The ceiling also had an open place where the dry wall tape from a repair that did not hold. We asked if we could change rooms, but were not accommodated. 2.Breakfast foods were unappetizing: bacon appeared raw, juice glasses were stuck together and could not be separated. 3\. $25 was placed on “hold” for misc. costs, which were not incurred. In addition to that, an additional $35 was charged to our credit card the day we checked out. I also questioned a buzzing noise coming from behind a door on the 2nd floor near our room. The first person listened but did not know what it was. When I told the Asst. Manager, I was told that the noise was coming from their computer/systems room. She also stated it had been reported several months ago but no one has been available to repair it. The ice machine on the second floor, which was broken, was also unitedly. We would not stay here again. I was told that the fourth floor had been renovated so I asked if we could be assigned a room on that floor. Carpet was full of stains and had not been vacuumed as there was debris on the carpet. Room 214 was right next to elevator so it was very loud. Barking dog in room next door. Breakfast was terrible , food was not refilled and pancake maker was broken as was the water dispenser on juice machine. Hotel is under renovation as had construction workers staying in the hotel and eating at the breakfast each morning. Made us aware of the refundable incidental fee since we booked with Expedia. Only complaint is the room temperature says its handle on the wall but it did nothing. The breakfast was a bonus...however, both mornings there wasn't much for offerings at breakfast - no yogurt, no pancakes, the hot food was mostly gone with an hour still left of breakfast. There was also no chocolate milk or whole milk (normally those are also offered). But, the worst part was that the pool and hot tub were closed. With a high energy child and cold weather, we were counting on the pool for an energy release.
