The Relax Inn was a nightmare! It was literally like Norman Bates home. The room was filthy! There were blood stains on the door and curtain, a dirty wash cloth in the shower. The linen is extremely dingy and has burn holes in everything.The shower hadn’t been cleaned since the place opened.Cigarette butts in the ash tray. The mini fridge was also filthy, never been wiped out. Even the light switch was dirty. This is probably why there’s a no refund policy. Spent the night in my car. Don't waste your money. The parking lot is TINY. I have a full-sized suv and it barely had enough room to back out of the parking space without getting too close to the other vehicles. Lighting was less than desirable, in fact the light switch next to the door didn't turn any of the lights on. The shower curtain didn't close all the way (not large enough) so water got on the floor of the bathroom. No shelves or anything in the shower to set your shampoo, etc on. The bathroom window was open when we got in the room. When checking in another guest came in staying they had found bedbugs in their room. We did do a VERY thorough check of the ENTIRE room and found none in our room. Went to check in & was told they didn't have my reservation. Went to a different hotel. Was charged from this hotel anyway. Called multiple times to resolve issue. Was told no one was there by the name "manager" or "owner" and was told "we no charge card" & was hung up on several times. Called back the next day & the same guy told me he was the manager. After I finally got to tell him what the issue was, he kept interrupting me & wouldn't let me talk, then he told me it was a penalty charge for cancelling. My room was unfinished. The sink wasn’t even attached to the vanity. It was beside the bed. The room was dated.
