Since Expedia only allows 1500 characters here is the Cliffs Notes for my stay here.
Check in was quick, found a large stain on my bedding as well as a hole in the sheet and stain on mattress pad. I was given a new set of sheets to put on my bed.
Sometime during the night I was bitten by a spider that left a large 6 inch diameter rash on my right bicep. The manager Ariana said they are on the side of a mountain, do spray, but sometimes they get in.
They changed my room, but not before the new maid threw away my toiletries and one of my socks. My clothes were in a neat folded pile on the dresser. I was able to retrieve most clothes minus the sock. The travel toothbrush was sentimental as my Mom gave it to me as a child, over 30 yrs ago. Ariana gave me $20 to replace the items thrown away and also gave me a brand new travel toothbrush and travel toothpaste.
Overall, I had a negative experience. The second room I was in appeared clean but both rooms smelled like smoke even though the motel is non smoking (prob earlier owners). The second bathroom had a pot type smell.
Both rooms got cold and stayed cold. The top blanket could be thicker, it was about 1/4th of an inch thick. The AC units worked well. Did not try the TV. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the remodeled rooms are nice, but small.
The manager, Ariana, was very apologetic and helpful. The other gentleman that worked there was nice also. Overall, I’d rate my stay 2/5 stars.
