I reserved a Studio Suite online. When I arrived and was given my key, I entered the room and noticed it was the same Standard King room that I had the last time I stayed there. When I went back to the desk to tell her that a mistake had been made, she informed me that the Standard Room is what showed up on her computer. I showed her my reservation confirmation on my phone, and she could see the higher price I paid for the suite, but she still wouldn't budge. She kept saying that she "couldn't change it in the system." And she was the property manager! She then began to chastise me for booking thru a third-party and said these errors happen all the time. I asked her if she had a Studio Suite available, she said yes, but wouldn't give it to me even after I showed her proof and she admitted than a mistake had been made. So I ended up paying more money than other guests for the same standard room. The room itself was nice enough, clean and comfortable, but it's not what I paid for. I pass through New Stanton often, but will think twice about staying at this hotel again because of their bad customer service.
