Room was clean. Plenty of parking. Check in was confusing but we got in. Front desk employee was helpful with our TV.

Clean room, great staff, nice bar

The room was clean and the staff very helpful. This place is nothing fancy but comfortable and adequate.

The unit was outdated, small, and had mismatched and old furniture. The shower in one of our bathrooms wouldn’t drain. The oven did not work. There was only one television. Concerns couldn’t be communicated because the staff hardly spoke English (although they were very nice). The unit was in a really nice location - 1.5 blocks from the boardwalk and beach. We liked the outside showers.

Out of the 9 hotels in OC that we have stayed at, The Grand is the best. My only complaints are the small refrigerators don't have freezers and the connecting room doors are so thin that you hear every sound from the room next door (and the hallway). You will be awakened several times each night and if you are unfortunate enough to be next door to someone playing crap music, you're in for an uncomfortable stay.
