“We enjoyed staying here! It was larger than we expected with a good size laundry room (the laundry machine is a washer dryer). We had success parking our small car under ground in the parkade. Small cars only as the parkade has a small car elevator.The accommodation has an 24/7 concierge and we found him to be incredibly helpful. The kids loved the rooftop pool.The location is about 2 blocks outside the expanding restored areas of Casco Viejo. And we walked around comfortably during the day and……

“Beware of this host. This host confirmed my reservation and then went MIA the day of check-in. I was stuck in the lobby of the building with my whole family and no access to the unit. VRBO tried to contact him with no success. I had to scramble to find another place last minute which ended up costing more. Beware.”

“View is nice. Pool is nice. The apartment is pretty bare bones. Only sheets to cover yourself at night. Like 5 clothes hangers to share between all the rooms. The air conditioning unit in the living room didn’t cool, but the ones in the rooms could freeze you out. The chairs in the dinning area were pretty beat up. The guys at reception were friendly. “The property is not called New Modern Ocean View - very misleading for locating the complex. Local cab drivers or Uber drivers had difficulty finding it, the name of this property is HP Boutique Del Mar. The property is about two years old and is still going through growing pains.The property manager who has the office in the building speaks English and was a great help with issues we presented her with. Many times she went beyond her call of duty. We have encountered very few Panamanians who……

“Place is wonderful. Great view from condo and roof top pool. We had a leaky A/C and told the owners. It was fixed by the time we got back to the condo that same day. We had a great time with bars and restaurants right next store in the Westin. We rented a car that sat in the safe garage most of the time. Uber drivers are usually within 2 minutes for pick up. The only thing we could have used one more of is the fob to go up and down in the elevator. Thanks for the use of your great place. ”
