When we arrived it was quaint. My issue was no hairdyrer which it said. There was hair on shower wall and the floor was a bit dirty. Nice area staff were nice. Will stay but probably in a larger cottage.

It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel.

This is a lovely property tucked a little bit off the highway and along a creek. The beds were very comfortable! The rooms were nicely decorated and spacious, our room looked out onto some beautiful trees and a long the creek . The building smell musty, perhaps that was related to some construction that was going on or repairs? There was an issue with the bathroom sink draining. I had to run the water for quite some time to get it warm. At that point the sink was half full water because it would not drain. That probably needs to be called to someone's attention . The other matter that I was surprised at for the rating this hotel had received, was that there were very tiny toilets, very low and outdated. Meaning they were not high profile, which is what is required for most of us seniors these days! Other than these issues, I would give the hotel a pretty good rating.
