The property was lovely and the staff was very friendly. The service was very slow. We waited on average 2hrs for beach service, it maybe because our cottage was the farthest, but it also meant we drank all the sodas in our fridge and had to make trips to the main bar for drinks. Additionally, meal service was very slow, which took away from the spectacular food. Servers would only come to the table to take orders or drop food off, not to check if you needed a drink refill, again causing you to go to the bar yourself or try to catch the attention of a server. Besides that, the cottage was beautiful, the beaches were clean and quiet. But the service wasn’t worth the money we spent.

So pleased we discovered The Great House rather than go to one of the usual characterless hotel chains. It’s a step back in time, the House is set in its own grounds that was once a sugar plantation and well away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. All the staff were so efficient and helpful and went out of their way to provide an excellent service. We stayed in one of the Garden Cottages, it was very clean, comfortable and spacious with a lovely cool veranda, complete with hammock. We had a wonderful massage & a excellent yoga class during our stay. Really can’t recommend The Great House highly enough - particularly if you’re looking for something a little less “run of the mill”

Let me start by saying my Expedia status (which I believe is the lowest status available) got us a free upgrade to an oceanfront cottage with its own pool. Amazing! This is the single greatest resort we have ever been to. Every aspect was perfection. I’m reassessing my 403b to see how I can retire here. I’m only half joking. But seriously, book Cocos right now! You won’t regret it.

I can’t say enough positive things about Dickenson’s Bay Oasis. Candy was amazing abs made my first trip to Antigua for my bday, extra special. Her and the staff at Antigua Village were amazing. The beautiful grounds maintained daily to perfection which added to the comfort and wonderful scenery. I had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning. 😊😊😊
