“We have stayed there twice, both times for an upcoming surgery for our kid, the proximity to UAB Children's was most important to us, and once I totally forgot a dress, and they actually sent it to me via the mail!! How uncommon, but truly sweet of the staff. I have another trip upcoming at UAB Children's and will be booking with them again.”

“We had to book a hotel while my dad was in CICU. This was one of the closest hotels! Short easy trip to hospital. Close to walmart and restaurants! Staff were so nice and helpful! Hotel and rooms were very clean!”

“Do not come to this place they have no bar, they have no restaurant they put me in a room and the ac didn’t work, it had ants coming out of it and also they moved me to another room and the bedding was not cleaned there was a rag under the sheet! There breakfast was not fit for a dog! There were fruit flies were the loaf of bread was stored. I left a day earlier because i couldn’t take it”

“The front desk was very helpful. The hotel itself, however, smelled like an overuse of cleaning products yet it was dirty everywhere. We had multiple rooms and all were disgusting - clogged shower drains, dirty tubs, stains and burn marks on carpet, paint on towels, hairballs in the bed. I have never seen a Candlewood Suites in this condition.”
