The hotel is in a quiet area just outside Groningen. Easy to reach by car and if you wish to visit the city centre the P+R is convenient. Car parking is free and plentiful. Very nice place especially for animal lovers. We loved being so closed to the horses. During our stay the washing machine broke down and the owners very quickly had it replaced with a new one. I was impressed with the hospitality and would stay here again!

Several shops closing. Very small. I like the deer park, but this was the first time I was in Veendam more than a day and there wasn’t much to do past that.
