“The room was comfortable and the grounds were very pleasant. The walls are thin so we could hear a lot of noise from the children in the next room one night. We had an enjoyable meal on New Year's Eve but we were not told until the day that everything would be closed (apart from breakfast) on New years day! “Lovely location, with nice grounds and the older part of the complex is spectacular. The newer part provided a spacious suite of rooms with kitchenette and dual aspect living room (it forms two sides of a quadrangle), for our family. Being in the roof meant that the window sills were low and these open fully, not an issue with older children. Breakfast is available in the older part of the complex, the coffee beans are locally roasted and resultant coffee delicious. Our Host was an encyclopaedia……
