I was excited to be in this property but I think I expected way too much. I mean given that the hotel is a 4-star, I'm pretty sure you will expect excellent services. So upon checking in, the staff were so nice and warm. They let us leave our bags there since we arrived early. The hotel was close by the train station, ferries and the people mover. From the hotel, you can start walking to whatever sights you wanna see. Going to our room, we booked the one with the canal view. If you don't mind hearing noises at night when you sleep, you can have the canal view room but if little sounds bother you, don't. You can hear the vaporettos passing by even when the windows closed. Overall, the room was pretty clean except for 2 things. The carpet was dirty. You can see shoe prints on it as if it wasn't vacuumed properly. Secondly, the hot water kettle has molds in it. I was really disappointed when I saw that. The bathroom didn't have a complete set toiletries so please bring your own. Also, we have to ask for extra tp rolls since the one in our room was almost done. On a good note, they have a restaurant on the ground floor and you can request to seat outdoors with the canal view. All in all it was a pretty decent stay. I wish they could just improve the things that I mentioned.
