"All in all the resort was clean and tidy. The staff was great. The pool and hot tub were excellent. However, we were confused about why the steam sauna and cold plunge are only available if you book them for a charge with the spa... The 1st evening we went down for a dip it was all open. There were no signs about having to "reserve" these amenities. So we used them for a short time. The next day there were signs on the door of the sauna saying "reserved". Kind of lame to be in a nice resort and you get nickel and dimed. I would think that if someone wants to have them for themselves then by all means rent them out. Or set up a schedule or something? We used public transit for the most part since we didn't have a car. Easy and cheap. We went to Buckeyes in town every other day for Happy Hour. We will be back next year."

"Hotel Rialto is in downtown Victoria. The hotel, room and staff were good. The issue I had was outside the hotel. The parking garage was really clean and seems new. The only issue there was that there was no elevator and I had to carry the baby stroller up a flight of stairs. I think the location isn’t the most convenient for families with young children requiring strollers but is certainly fantastic for adults. The establishment was good overall and had a warm and fun environment downstairs in the lobby."

"We stayed here for 3 nites in mid-October. I picked it because it is easily walkable to the downtown area and many restaurants! Our room was on the 1st floor and was not very quiet in the am as the hallway intersects the entry to the morning breakfast area and it echoed down to our end room. But the room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent: hot scrambled eggs , cold cereals, cooked pancakes, toasts were all available, along w/ a rotating breakfast meat of bacon/sausage and potatos. They had tea in a large urn which my husband Loved-we'd never seen this before!The coffee was excellent ! Of note, there are 5 stairs down from the buffet down to where you sit, so you have to be cautious! We loved that we could walk over to the next block to the restaurant at the Hotel Oswego for dinner at their Aegir room. We did this 2 of our 3 nites! We loved sitting in their bar w/ the fireplace, having excellent prawns, french onion soup, cesear salad,french dips along w/ a floral Viognier from Australia that was divine!"
