The hotel is conveniently located 1 block back from La Concha beach, 5 minutes from most of the shopping and about 10 minutes walk to every Pintxo bar worth visiting in Donostia/San Sebastián. The staff is incredibly welcoming and delivered on our every request immediately. The room was larger (by European standards) and pretty much what you would expect from a US room - so I would call it spacious for the normal traveler. Coffee and mini bar was included with our room which was a nice touch. The room had a side vie of the La Concha bay and very quiet except when we had the window open and the one bar below us was getting ready to close...that was the only noise we could hear the entire stay. If you are driving there, contact the hotel ahead of time to reserve parking under the hotel as there is limited space. I prefer my car at the hotel but I understand that there are public parking options nearby.
If we come back, this will be the place we look to stay.
