"Very disappointed with Hotels.com not notifying us of a 60euro cleaning fee imposed after a 1 night stay. There add also says theres a full size fridge and a dishwasher however no dishwasher and a small fridge. The quality of a accommodation was well below par.... not at all in line with same rated places. The lady that checked us in was lovely but the additional fees were ridiculous!!! Very very disappointing. "

"From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the property. In fact, we could not have picked a more perfect location. The house had everything we needed, which made our six-day stay truly memorable. The facilities were excellent, the view from the balcony truly stunning. Even the bad weather for the first couple of days couldn't spoil things, as the view of the mountains across the lake was something Caspar David Friedrich could have drawn inspiration from! "Warm, clean, close to the centre of Maria Alm, even closer to a supermarket. Great two weeks in an apartment that had every thing we needed. Not too long a walk to the ski lifts, but we left our skis in a depot to make the walk even easier. We didn’t have a car so an ideal location."

"Samantha and Arne have done an amazing job of transforming their historic property into a modern space. Yet the historic is maintained with exposed parts of the old building. They are a very friendly couple and Heidi their dog is sweet too! In a group of farm houses and modern homes it combines Bavarian country with the conveniences of a larger town. We loved it!!!!"

"This is the second time we have stayed at Villa Julia. The apartment is very spacious and the location can’t be beat - close to the central area, the Bahnhof, the walkway around the lake - we could walk everywhere! It is next to the train tracks but the trains are electric and quiet. Any extra needs were taken care of immediately. When we return to Zell Am See, we shall rent this place again."

"Great location, newer appliances, nice rooms and a great little grill and patio. Only drawback was that all the floors and every board squeaked horrendously. If anyone walked at night it would wake them up."

"Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Die Wohnung lag etwas außerhalb von Ruhpolding mit tollem Ausblick auf die Berge und Wiesen, Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen, Ausflüge, Besichtigungen im Chiemgau bis ins nahe gelegene Österreich. Nette Gastgeber, eigener Swimmingpool im Garten, alles gepflegt und sauber. Es gibt viele Lokale und Almen mit gutem Essen, nicht überteuert, allerdings muß man überall vorher Plätze reservieren."
