Weekend getaways in Cape Charles

Wow! We had a waterfront room with a large personal balcony. There were plenty of inside and outside cozy sitting areas. I relaxed and read in the hammock overlooking the Cheasapeake Bay listening to the waves gently crashing on the shore, birds singing and a bunny hopping by. beautiful.

Great place. Perfect for traveling with our two small pups.

No. This is the like... fifth time we've gone through this exercise. I am not writing an actual review. Stop asking me to. Just let me rate it 5-stars. It was a wonderful hotel experience, but I have no desire to explain in detail what the issue is. At this point, I'm more annoyed about getting these emails from you all when you manually review the review and decide it doesn't fit your standards.

My husband and I needed a long weekend and VA beach is always our choice. This was our first time staying at Embassy Suites Oceanfront, and we were pleasantly surprised! A brand-new hotel on the best side of the beach with an extra clean room, and the tasty buffet breakfast and good reception drinks are included in the costs. Great place to stay!

This hotel is located right in the middle of the boardwalk. The staff was lovely, easy check in/out. Hotel very clean and their continental breakfast was amazing as well as the staff in the restaurant area. Housekeeping were outstanding also. Will stay there again.

The free breakfast was delious both mornings. The decorations were fantastic. Staff very friendly and had recommendations for places to go.

Awesome service great property!

It was a very nice place great view of the ocean. It did surprise me that the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and we couldn't hang our toilet paper in it. It just was not something you should see in a place that nice. Also the maid service every other day was puzzling I don't remember being told that or asked if we needed towels on the day she wasn't coming? That was a little unexpected. Great property!. Parking is an issue if traveling with more than one car. The view of the beach was lovely. The location is good, shops are near.

I highly recommend booking through Expedia and not through the front desk! I wanted to extend another day and they lied to me multiple times about the prices at the front desk. Wish I just would’ve rebooked through Expedia. Lesson learned though!

We stayed in the cabin for two nights. Gorgeous view! Screened in back porch had picnic table that took up the whole porch. Would of liked some chairs the were pictured in the site. Pool was clean and nice to swim in right along the ocean. Beds were comfy and clean and loved the AC!

Nice hotel. Price gouging by all the hotels on Memorial Day weekend😵‍💫 so definitely not worth it. Elevator capacity is not nearly enough for the volume of people

Great hotel.

Stayed in December and half the places were closed.It was a nice view being on the beach and we were right at the end of the Christmas Lights viewing. Nice hotel, indoor pool and hot tub, and above average breakfast. Definitely worth it
