"Greta location hotel and good choice at breakfast!"

"We stayed two weeks as a home base for our touring of the area. Our room had just the basics for cooking but served our needs perfectly. We were within two blocks from Watford Junction Station which is a major hub to travel into London or to travel to areas north etc. The Harry Potter bus pickup is here as well. We rented a car to do local touring as we had childhood roots in this area. Excellent wifi. Fabulous staff. The apartments are on the top floors of the Holiday Inn which has a great restaurant that we dined in. Our stay was In October so no air conditioning not a problem for us. We had two windows that opened so we had plenty of fresh air."

"Not your average Holiday inn. Great lobby and dining area with multiple different seating areas for business travelers and families alike. Thoughtful amenities (workstations, oulets, bar, coffee station). Nice breakfast buffet with many choices. Clean and spacious rooms with well thought out functional details. "

"In my line of work, I found that Ricky Road was perfect for ease of moving around Watford and the surrounding areas using public transport or by car. Blackout curtains would have been useful due to working nights, but you can't have it all. All in all I enjoyed my stay 10 out of 10 "

"I booked with the intention of proposing to me lovely girlfriend. The reception arranged with my friends access to decorate the room whilst we were out to dinner. Staff were amazing, location was gorgeous and food option 10/10….. SHE SAID YES!!!! A perfect trip and over the moon I chose the Grove"
