Welcome to Pajaro Dunes where wispy sea-grass blows in the sea air on miles of uncrowded, white sandy beaches. Our secluded vacation home community offers the best of California Coastal living!

Serene and modern, this spacious 2 bed - 2 bath fully renovated condo has ocean views throughout.

While overlooking the ocean from the living room you will appreciate the warmth of the fireplace on chilly evenings.

Maser bedroom w/ en-suite bathroom and an abundance of natural lighting. Two twin beds in the second bedroom and a 2nd full bathroom offer our guests comfort during your stay.

A fully appointed kitchen and large dining table perfect to share a meal, a game of cards or a lovely chat at the end of an adventure filled day.

Vacations are cherished experiences. A romantic get-away, a peaceful retreat with friends/family, an inspirational place to work from home, or looking to get in touch with nature. Here you can and watch the seals, dolphins and otters play in the surf and perhaps even a peek at the migrating whales. You'll find egrets & herons, pelicans soaring overhead or sandelings darting across the sand. There is no shortage of wildlife on land or sea.

Come to relax and enjoy all that our private gated community has to offer or venture out to the nearby towns of Capitola, Monterey, Carmel and Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

Our Association offers Bonfires on the beach with Smores, and the best part is that the staff at Pajaro Dunes will set up everything for you.

There is also a convenience store on the premises with an amazing selection of food, wine and sundries. Forgot something? No problem...this convenient shop has thought of almost everything, is open 7 days a week and also offers great gifts and souvenirs to remember your trip.

Sorry...we do love furry, four-legged friends, but in consideration of all guests, we do not allow pets.

Our stay was wonderful. The condo is clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the walk to the beach was short and easy. Maria was incredibly responsive. She responded to messages immediately and went above and beyond to provide answers to our questions.

Place at the beach

Loved the property! Feels like you are far away from everything except the beach, which is practically right outside the door. In reality, city conveniences are close and easy to get to. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I wish i could give this a 15/20. Biews were great, location was fantastic and the condo was beautiful. This was a special event for our Mothers and they enjoyed every moment. Host provided great communication ar check in. We'd love to return.

We had such a wonderful stay at Maria's place. Having the beach steps away was such a treat. The listing is as described. Pajaro Dunes is a hidden gem. It feels like you are in a different world. Excellent New Property on VRBO

Amazing location, lovely views and no detail missed in the furniture and decor! The condo is truly the nicest we have ever stayed at. Ocean views from the living room and deck, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and tons of new board games. We had a great time walking on the beach, enjoying the views, exploring the area and relaxing in the condo. The owner was helpful and responsive and we look forward to coming back soon! We enjoyed our stay at this amazing beach condo!

A great location at Pajaro Dunes

My family (wife, two young kids) and I had a very nice 3-day stay at Maria's condo. The location was just what we were looking for (near the north end of PD, so close to actual dunes we could play in) and also not overwhelmed with people. We really liked the ease of access to the beach from the west-side condo, and the nice view to the water. Everything in the condo worked well, and the few times we had a question, Maria responded right away! Our girls had a great time as did we. Highly recommended!

Beach-front hideaway

This is a little hidden beach-front gem in Watsonville! The unit is located in a neighborhood called Pajaro Dunes in a very rural area. You are flanked by the beautiful (private) beach on one side, and farmland on the other. This makes for a very quiet and relaxing beach-front vacation. Nothing beats waking up to the sound of the ocean. The house was very well-stocked with necessities that will last you 1 or 2 days, just bring food! However, it does take some time to drive into town for supplies and activities, and drive with caution around the farmland! Spring Break Getaway

My family .. Myself, husband, a 2 teens stayed for 3 days during spring break. We had an amazing time reconnecting as a family. Maria’s property was an integral part of our positive experience. Check in was super easy.. Everything was as listed. The view was actually better then I had expected.. The photos on the listing really don’t do it justice. The kitchen was well appointed. We were able to enjoy family meals and game nights.. We even took out the pickle ball set.. I’m gonna need some practice.. My kids had me running all over the court!! Overall.. Everything was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Amazing condo with attentive owner!

This was our first time booking a vacation rental and the only reason we selected this unit was because of Maria's reviews. Maria is extremely attentive, we asked if she had an iron and she said "by the time we arrived there would be one." She not only provided an iron, also a steamer. Maria's condo has absolutely everything you would need and more for your stay. Her condo is pristine, very clean and many items have never been used. The shells on the beach were absolutely amazing I am from Southern California and haven't seen shells like this in over 40 years. The ocean was actually closer then we expected, such a nice surprise! We loved our time at this unit and we would certainly spend time here again!

Beautiful sunsets. Great spot right on the beach!

Pajaro Dunes condos are about 30 min from Monterey so car rental is a must. There is traffic between 4-6pm so plan accordingly bc hwy 1 is only one lane going to Watsonville. The place was great in general. Ample space for small families. Some of the bathroom drawers need to be cleaned a bit better and the toilets don't have a strong flush so you need to be careful with them. The sunsets were gorgeous every night. There is no air conditioner but there is usually a cool wind at night. Place has fans. Grocery stores are kinda far so be sure to bring food. The road in is along strawberry farms. Overall, we had a very nice stay and the flat was decorated nicely.

Absolute Gem!

The condo is fabulous in so many ways. It’s newly renovated and beautifully appointed throughout the condo. Soft sheets, fluffy towels, stocked kitchen with many dishes, pots and pans, glasses, and utensils. The couch/loveseat combo is very comfortable that comes with an incredible view of the ocean and dune or the fireplace if it’s chilly. The patio/deck is perfect and you can choose to sit out and look at the ocean or be in a little and protected from the wind. Oh, it’s literally steps from the beach. Perfect for a small family, girls’ weekend, or just a peaceful solo respite from the crazy world. We felt safe walking on the beach and beautiful grounds of the Shorebirds community. Communication was great and it was such an easy check-in / out process. The owner, Maria, was just coming in to re-stock and check things out as we were leaving. It’s awesome to see an owner invested in the property and making each guest feel welcomed. I would 100 percent stay here again and hope to in the near future. Thank you for sharing your slice of peace and tranquillity. The only thing I would note for a future renter is if you are going to cook all your meals, bring your favorite spices/oils. Nob Hill Grocery Store is only about 4 miles away so everything you need is close.

Beach Birthday Weekend

Outstanding! We loved this property for so many reasons…clean, beautiful, comfortable, well-appointed, safe, and oceanfront. We cooked breakfast every morning and dinner one night. The kitchen has everything we needed. My friend and I had the twin beds and they are SO COMFORTABLE! Maria, the owner, went above and beyond to make it special by suggesting restaurants, she is very responsive and truly cares about her guests. I’d give this property 10 if I good!
