Loved the 4 post beds and the linens were the nicest I have ever slept in. Lots of free parking on sight with a couple of outdoor fire pits. I would definitely stay there when we are in Simsbury

Rooms are not cleaned daily. If you want clean towels you have to go to the desk or request them by 11;45 am. Breakfast items were very cold. No bread for toast only cold bagels and cold pastries. Had a much better breakfast and service at a Holiday Inn.

Our stay at the Simsbury Inn was delightful. We visited our daughter and her family and went to an outdoor concert. My husband was not feeling well so we spent more time than we expected in the room. It was nice and quiet away from wedding festivities. The breakfast was excellent. We usually stay here when visiting our daughter. Would like it a little less expensive.

The man at the front desk at departure was rude and arrogant. He had ear buds in his ears and couldn’t be bothered with anything. Ruined an otherwise very nice stay.

I hate to say it but the sister property in Avon can’t even compare to this location. I was so disappointed with the Avon location that I amazed to find out that this was a sister property. The instant I walked in the door, Matt was amazing, the rooms are quaint and clean, and the restaurant along with the staff like Kelly, put an exclamation point on the property. The restaurant is the gem of the entire hotel. When locals fill the restaurant on a Tuesday night it speaks volumes. I will be back in a couple months!

What a beautiful and charming inn! I loved everything about it. The restaurant food was delicious, and the breakfast was fresh and excellent. The coffee was amazing, and the organic milk was such a nice touch. The area is beautiful, and the parking was extremely convenient. I also felt very safe staying there with my two small children. Definitely going back again!

I don’t love the new gray corporate hotel decor that has taken over every hotel in recent years, so I was delighted to arrive at the Simsbury Inn with beautiful classically decorated rooms that make you feel at home. Fluffy duvets and comfortable beds. And a wonderful breakfast. I also enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese in the late afternoon and a swim in the heated pool. All around a lovely stay.

This property had such high ratings but I found rooms to be very old, not updated and maintained. The first room we had smelled like smoke. The second room had a sagging spring mattress. In the third room they simply put a mattress topper over a sagging mattress. The trim in the bathroom was rusting. Poor lighting. Fridge in the bathroom. I never ever complained about a room in my life. Just expected more from the property based on price and reviews. I understand that it is old. There’s charming but that doesn’t mean things are never updated. You can update in a way that maintains charm. Perhaps we had an older room because there was a wedding there this weekend. Breakfast, although included, was just ok quality. Just disappointed.
