We had no complaints with this hotel (other than the fact that it does not have air conditioning, which might be a factor in warmer weather). We stayed at the Rocco Forte line before and found it lovely, however the service and overall experience at the Charles Hotel truly defined luxury service. Best example: we wanted to take the subway to BMW World and it being a hard to find station, the concierge not only walked us to the station but down to the platform and ensured we got the correct train. I booked close to the train station and this was a very easy walk (0.2 miles). I wanted to add another night and couldn't through expedia without having to change rooms. Since they let me check in early, they were able to juggle other guest accommodations so I could keep my same room for the second night. I paid the hotel direct, which was actually cheaper than expedia and included breakfast (which was quite nice). Five Stars for service and facility.
