My husband and I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Decatur. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, the bed was very comfortable and they provided really great pillows which I find is often a miss at hotels. We really enjoyed the hot water/coffee station and my husband loved the breakfast. It was a hearty spread.
The fridge in the room was actually cold! I can't believe how many warm fridges I have come across in my travels. The workout room was closed which wasn't a bother as we didn't have time to workout, but looked like they had good equipment. We didn't try the pool, but it was pretty small. A 12'x12' square maybe. There were no window and it felt a bit claustrophobic.
We chose this location for a work trip so the pool wasn't a consideration, just a note to share. I choose this property for the room amenities, cleanliness and great reviews. It did not disappoint and we will book with them next time around.
