I have stayed at this location twice, and unfortunately, I’ve experienced the same issue both times: there is consistently no one available at the front desk. During both stays, I’ve had to wait for assistance at check-in, along with other guests waiting both before and after me. When I asked about the lack of coverage, the young lady assisting me explained that she was the only person working the front desk and that any concerns should be directed to the manager, Janet Duke. The following morning, I simply wanted to check out and obtain a receipt. Once again, no one was at the front desk. I waited 24 minutes before eventually having to leave without being assisted. I genuinely do not understand why hotel management does not see the importance of having someone consistently available at the front desk. Guests need assistance with check-ins, check-outs, room issues, questions, and emergencies. Beyond customer service, this is also a safety and security concern. With no one monitoring the lobby or front entrance, anyone can simply walk into the hotel without being noticed. Additionally, the elevator is extremely slow, which only adds to the frustration of the overall experience. After experiencing the same front-desk issue during two separate stays, this appears to be more than an isolated staffing problem. Management needs to address it.

I loved the text check in and out process. The code and apartment number were sent to me (early!) and I was able to text to check out. The building is amazing and in a great location and the coffee shop downstairs is really cute and has great food and coffee. We walked around the market on Sunday and also walked to Trader Joe’s, a bakery, a fabulous bbq spot (blue oak) and Dave and busters. We parked in the parking deck and scanned the QR code and it was free. Would be a great location for a concert at the amphitheater. We will definitely be back.
