“Easy to find and such a warm welcome. A beautiful cottage with everything you need. Whether you while away the hours watching the chickens foraging and dustbathing from the front garden, or enjoy the lovely walks from the doorstep, it is a wonderful location for a week away ..or longer.. as there is so much to see and do and the cottage is perfectly placed to explore. It was a priority, having dogs, that there were lots of shady walks nerar-by, we were not disappointed! The Colliers Trail……

“Bank cottage is an amazing property situated in the beautiful area. Idyllic view overlooking the village.We had a lovely time and certainly didn't want to leave - will definitely be booking again in near future.”

“Loved this little place! It’s walking distance to all the shops. You really have to be okay climbing a latdder up to bed. My husband and I thought it was cute and part of the experience. The bathroom is downstairs, so if you frequent the bathroom multiple times at night the ladder could get tricky. ”

“A great location to access heritage sites at Chepstow, Monmouth and Tintern. I was made very welcome by all at The Lion. I recommend the food options which they will even deliver to the cottage on request. Many thanks. ”

“Well located, clean and comfortable. Perfect for staying with our dog. Owners' property is very close, but they are friendly and welcoming, not overpowering.”

“Such a cute cottage. Had everything we needed and beds really comfortable. ”

“Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.”

“Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again.”

“Property was so cosy and clean. The views were to die for. Extremely remote snd lovely and quiet but not too far to be able to drive to certain places. Thankfully the owner of the property made our stay work after the booking agent hadnt informed her we were coming as she had no knowledge we were booked in.”
