"Despite the negative reviews of this place I must admit the room I had (105) was quite good,. It was clean, there was plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower. Shampoo conditioner and soap were provided, The towels and sheets were clean, no hairs or stains,. The shower , was a little scratched on the floor of the bathtub probably because of all the sand, but clean. I am taking 1 star off for 2 reasons, 1) They need blinds on the window because the Persian blinds let in the hallway light and the stairs were next to it and I felt it didn't provide enough privacy, 2) The bed , while very comfortable and clean creaked a lot from the springs. The location is excellent , only 1 block from Midway Steaks / Spicy Cantina on the boardwalk. The parking , while tight was manageable. But we had a pleasant stay and I would stay here again."

"This hotel met our needs from a basic standpoint but could use some improvements. For example, there are tiles around the pool (which kids grasp for the "monkey crawl" around the edges) that are loose and falling apart and need to be fixed. The breakfast was adequate for our needs- egg and sausage patties, waffle makers, yogurt, oatmeal packets, bread for making toast, etc. Our room was not cleaned after our first night- not sure if we had to request cleaning? The water pressure in our shower was a bit low- also, the hot and cold were reversed. Just some minor things here and there that could be improved but all in all, our stay was fine- it was our first experience at a SureStay Plus by Best Western."
