Whitney Point Vacations from $268

The staff was very helpful . Our GPS stopped working and a staff member went on her computer to print out mapquest directions for us . On the negative side, the TV screen was blown so TV did NOT work . I reported this to staff at check in . We were not planning on watching TV so that was not a big deal . There was a used towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door , so the cleaning staff missed that one . Other than that , we were satisfied with our stay .

The property was not actually located at the address shown on my reservation. When we arrived, we found out that the accommodation was at a different address, which was already very concerning. Once we entered the property, there were several serious health and safety issues. The room had a very strong moldy smell, and one of the light fixtures was falling down, which we felt was dangerous. The bathroom was located on the first floor, and the bathroom window was open and could not be closed. There was also no curtain or proper privacy, so we could not reasonably use the bathroom. By the time we discovered all of these problems, it was already very late at night. We had nowhere else to go immediately, so we only stayed for about three hours to get a little rest, and then we left the property early in the morning. I want to be very clear that we did not leave because we simply didn’t like the accommodation. We left because the property was unsafe, unsanitary, and not reasonably usable. Also, the fact that the actual location was different from the address provided on the reservation is extremely concerning. Given these circumstances, I am requesting a full refund for this booking. I don’t believe we should be charged for an accommodation that was inaccurately represented and had serious health and safety issues.
