Heart of Downtown - Front/Market Street

Momentum loft is a second floor condo in heart of downtown Wilmington. Located in the busy intersection of Front and Market Street, the condo is footsteps away from shopping, dining, entertainment and attractions. Our location is a convenient stroll down the Riverwalk to Live Oak Bank Pavilion, Wilmington Convention Center and downtown wedding venues.
This section of Front Street is full of retail and restaurants with an Irish Pub next door. Our guests can expect the usual city noise. There are no CLUBS on this section of the block that plays loud BASS until 2pm. The Pub next door does play tolerable music at a tolerable level until 2pm. The bedroom is in the back of the unit and surrounded by thick brick walls that allow for a good night sleep!
The loft comes with 2 foam surfboards. Dont hesitate to come downstairs and ask the owner about private surf lessons.

Downtown getaway
The momentum loft is a great downtown spot to stay if you are interested in an easy walk to all things Downtown Wilmington. Great riverfront access, restaurants, nightlife, and just a short drive to Wrightsville Beach. Would definitely stay again.

Only negative thing I have to say is that there is not really a kitchen. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and sink and that was pretty much it as far as a kitchen goes. There was plates cups provided. But we were prepared to cook all meals and that changed without a stove or oven available.

The place was lovely & clean & cozy.The noise from the street & pub below made for restless evenings.We did not sleep well.It may not bother some younger folks though.We were tempted to just go down & join the fun but not our scene.

Best Wilmington Stay!
This apartment is in the dead center of historic Wilmington and was a PERFECT location! There are endless restaurants, coffee shops, sightseeing, and retail stores within a mile walk of the apartment. We stayed here to see a concert at Live Oak and it was only a short mile walk (all flat) to the amphitheater. You can hear quiet bar music from the bedroom, but with a small fan (provided in the unit) it was no problem at all. Parking was a breeze as well which is a plus for Wilmington. The hosts own a distillery near by so we enjoyed some tastings and took home a few bottles as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Hunter, was a great host he actually contacted us when we were in on our way there that we could check in early that was not a problem. The location was amazing right in the heart of downtown. Really clean and cool place. 5 star!! We will be staying again. The distillery was awesome. You have to check it out.!!!!

If you want to explore historic Wilmington, it’s the perfect place you can walk everywhere. Great food great drink great entertainment anll super close. unfortunately I was there for a professional conference and couldn’t enjoy Downtown Wilmington.

Awesome location!
We had a great stay! You can not beat this location if you are looking to hang out downtown. Room was clean & check in was easy. This will be the only place we stay in Wilmington from now on! The owner also runs a distillery so make sure to stop by and check it out!

Great pad and amazing location!
My girlfriend and I were visiting friends for the weekend and we loved waking up to the bright and sunny downtown streets of Wilmington! Another great thing is that the bedroom is away from the street so you can sleep peacefully and not here sounds from the bars outside!

Right in the middle of everything and had everything you need. Literally the only “downfall” I could say was the TV was small but just made me get out and explore the area which was amazing!! 12/10 would definitely recommend!!

Cozyand clean spot, just what we needed for a short stay. Located in the middle of downtown, we thought the downtown noise would be a lot, but because the bed is in the back of the loft behind a wall it wasn't bad at all.

Location! Location! Location!
If you are wanting to stay in downtown Wilmington and be in easy walking distance of all the amazing restaurants, pubs, breweries and entertainment venues that downtown has to offer, look no further than Momentum Loft. Very roomy and offering all the comforts of home, this is heads and shoulders above staying at a hotel. Everything was in great condition and extremely clean. The queen sized bed was very comfortable and so were both sofas. We felt safe no matter what time we came and went. Though there is a bar next door, noise was not an issue. The only noise that we experienced during our stay was street noise and revelers going up and down the sidewalk out front. Saturday night was noisier than Sunday night, understandably so. If you are looking for having convenience as well as comfort, Momentum Loft is for you. The city parking garage is real close by...2-3 minute walk from the Loft. I'm already planning on staying there again. And the owner, Hunter, is an amazing individual himself. Be sure to visit his business, Momentum Distillery during your stay. You'll love talking with Hunter and trying his many great spirits he crafts there.
