"First of all we do not recommend a trike bike for the trail ride. Go with two wheels. There are a few stories to tell but I wont go there. The house was great. Beautiful location! Very clean, stocked with just about everything you need. The pool wasn’t officially opened when we stayed at house but we were able to take advantage and spend our first afternoon hanging by the pool. The only suggestion I have is putting TVs in the bedrooms."

"Saddle View is everything described in the listing and much more. The Manor is very well appointed, the owners have thought of everything needed to make a stay at the Manor enjoyable and memorable. There are so many amenities, we couldn't work everything in this trip but hope to return and at least relax in the huge tub in the master and enjoy a calm evening on the back porch. "Nice location in proximity of West Jefferson and Lansing. The Lansing Creeper Trail Park was nice (go to the other side of the creek for a more rustic walk) and Mount Jefferson State Park Luther Rock spur had some fantastic views. The fire ring was great for morning/evening fires. Thanks for a great weekend! Jack and Lucy"

"Lovely location and setup. Worked well for people with bad knees (only one couple) with the main floor master. Kids. Loved the games downstairs and the bunk beds. Quiet, fully stocked kitchen. Worth coming back to."

"This property was exactly as listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. Everything was super clean. The owner was also available if needed. The location was very good, and there was a cafe which served breakfast and lunch with a very welcoming staff. We would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"Nice sized lodge for family gathering. Plenty of room, great sitting area on front porch. Nicely planted flower beds around lodge, attracted hummingbirds and butterflies. Only the most basic amenities provided. I definitely would recommend using a 4-wheel drive to access the property. Any vehicle low to the ground could bottom out."

Great spot for travelers that need a place to rest
"Our stay was brief but good! This is a great safe, quiet, and dog friendly spot to rest while traveling. It’s an older motel with no amenities (a good place to just sleep and shower). The buildings have seen better days but despite that the room and property was very clean. Service was wonderful and check in went smoothly even with it being late at night and a last minute booking. There were plenty of places for our dogs to walk. Access to rooms are from the outside which was convenient. The free breakfast is limited but everything tasted good. There was plenty of space to sit and eat or your room is a quick walk to eat there. The automatic pancake maker it’s great for entertaining little ones (with supervision of course) and they tasted great!"
