"The hotel was well situated. We found a very nice Italian restaurant less than a mile away and were able to make a reservation. We liked the room’s size and layout. My only complaint is that the sofa was made for very tall people. My back did not reach the back of the sofa. I am 5’6” tall. One or more big, thick cushions would have given my back support. Another chair designed for people of average height would also have helped."

"Staff was very nice at check-in. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken so we had to haul our bags & bikes to the second floor. Room was very small, but adequate. (Water pressure in shower was strong and the shower head did not adjust, so it pelted you) Lobby and grand staircase were beautiful, and there was plenty of convenient parking. (Pool was not open yet, just a tad bit too cold yet) Overall, a nice place to stay for a night or two. *Note: Property is approximately 40 minutes from Old Rag trailhead."

"Staff was excellent- friendly, courteous. Helpful. Gym - small - but clean and most that you need. Pool - beautiful- on smaller side. Great bar vibe. Excellent location. This Wyndham so much better quality than the Wyndham we stayed at in Savannah, GA. Uno Pizzaria - connected to hotel - terrible service and food"
