“My husband and I travelled to Hillbrook Inn over the weekend to celebrate his birthday. We stayed in Summit Room in the farmhouse. It was clean, private and a beautiful space with extra sitting room area. We took advantage of the charcuterie board on our arrival and it was a nice treat before heading to dinner. “We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, staying in the Peacock Room. The house is gorgeous with beautiful things to look at and sumptuous nooks to pause in. We had a some time to walk around in the morning and enjoy the peaceful grounds as well. Our hostess was so kind, and the breakfast was an epic and auspicious way to start the day. Just a few minutes away, we ate dinner at Train to Mumbai - such good food we ordered dishes to take away and enjoy further along our travel. I sincerely hope……

“The Inn was on a lovely property near a river walk. An amazing ale house is also on the property. Very quaint and comfortable. Games, books and a front porch swing were provided. Our hosts were accommodating and friendly. The Breakfests were exceptional with delightful farm fresh eggs and produce. Overall it was a very relaxing and fun getaway. A side note that Sperryville is a weekend town there was not much to do during the week. ”

“The property is beautiful.I can only imagine how nice it will be after the renovations are complete. Lovely porch to sit on and watch the rain. Lovely private bath with beautiful clawfoot tub. I met my cousin here. It was half way between Pittsburgh and DC. We picked a bad few days, in that everything is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That gave us a lot of quiet time to relax”
