Great staff great stay.

We had a great stay at the Weinberg. Facilities are very good and the staff are all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special mention to Herold and Stranger who were invaluable in helping us deal with a car accident.

Lovely room, spacious bathroom, Morden decor and a wide range of restaurants, advise the steak house (note: if you want a large meal for a relatively good price, may I recommend the ‘Texan Pork Belly’: you won’t regret it)

Oasis in Namibia

The Weinberg Hotel in the capital city of Windhoek is very charming. It has a European feel. The restaurant has great food, and the full breakfast was included in the room. We stayed before and after our trip to Etosha National Park. Very convenient!

Great place, highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, we had a great stay. The staff were wonderful although service was sometimes slow. Great breakfast in the courtyard. Fabulous sky bar with sunset views. Our room was very comfortable with an enormous bed, good shower and a lovely large and sunny balcony. Close to restaurants ( some on site not belonging to the hotel) and the few attractions in Windhoek. Plenty of parking also.Really the only disappointment was that there was no swimming pool but for a fee or with a treatment we were able to use the pool at the on site spa. The spa could do with more sun beds and replacing the towels which were worn and stained but the treatments we had were excellent.

A beautiful property with a nice day spa right in its vicinity and great food options on property. However, staff needs to be better trained. Especially when it comes to how to deal with complaints. Upon check-in we had asked for a late check-out the next day and were willing to pay for it, which was said would be possible, we'd just need to stop by the reception the following morning. The next morning, however, we got the information that it wasn't possible due to the hotel being fully booked. Mind that we asked for a check-out until 2pm - nothing later and there are always late check-ins... Would still have been ok, if the manager wouldn't have given us the feeling that we did something wrong. Also, an airport shuttle requested would have had to be paid cash, even though we later found out, that it would have been a staff member of the hotel providing it. Ended up booking one we knew from the hotel we had stayed upon arrival. Still a nice and convenient option for Windhoek - with room for improvement service wise.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Der Pool ist zwar abgebildet und in der Beschreibung erwähnt, dieser gehört aber nicht zum Hotel und ist kostenpflichtig zu buchen. Das Hotel wollte die Beschreibung auf Expdia anpassen, leider ist dies bisher nicht erfolgt.

We had a fabulous time at the Weinberg Hotel in Windhoek. The room was very spacious and had a nice balcony with view of the city. We also enjoyed the Fish restaurant and the excellent breakfast.
