Our innkeepers, Dave and Trudi were so kind and attentive. Their place is a gem, and meticulously maintained. Huge attention to detail and consideration of their guests. The happy hour, the made-to-order breakfasts (served by Dave, a former beverage manager at the Palmer House in Chicago!), the grounds (charming) and the magnificent views from the great room and our sleeping room made for a very happy stay. We had snow and ice, and Dave de-iced and garaged our car, plus he insisted on driving us into Baraboo for a special event we were there for, then picking us up. We couldn't believe our good fortune in finding this place. Thank you, Dave and Trudi. My wife and I have never been to a bed and breakfast before. This place exceeded our expectations!! We loved that there were only 4 rooms, it is so peaceful and quiet. It is close to Devil's Lake and Mirror Lake for outdoor activities and the Inn's grounds have their own trails that are beautiful. Trudy's breakfast was amazing both days and we enjoyed getting referrals from Dave about where to eat during Wine & Cheese hour. We will definitely be back!
