"Our first time in Hawai’i, and this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Surrounded by lush forest and secluded, it was the perfect getaway. "This was a very lovely stay, very clean and close to Volcano National Park. The beds were very comfortable and there is a hot tub under the trees that we made use of! Sarah made us a nice breakfast and had some good advice, and we were able to get reservations for a ranger guided tour that took us past the "do not cross" barrier in the Kileaua caldera! The second night there was a family with a baby that woke us up early, but that could happen anywhere. Would definitely recommend!"

"Very nice place, location is great for a visit to the Volcano area. Owners were timely and helpful with our request for information. Although we did not get to meet Sarah, she was on vacation, her lovely aunt Lila filled in. "This location was perfect for exploring the national park and the southern end of the island. You can be looking at the Kilauea caldron in less than 10 min from the house! The house is cozy, and beautifully built. We loved sitting out on the back porch and watching the family of pheasants peck around every morning. It was a bit musty smelling, and could use a deep clean but the price is pretty low for the location and all the space you get."
