"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."

"Clean and presentable hotel right in the heart of Barnstaple. The only reason I have dropped a star is that on a warm summer evening the rooms (no a/c) do get very stuffy even with the window wide open and the fan on. The extractor fan noise from outside then doesn’t help when you’re already struggling to sleep. The restaurant is absolutely amazing!"

The design and layout of bedrooms is spot on and spotlessly clean.Our party ranged from age 7 to 76 and there was something fun and exciting for all of us. The kids and ladies were hugely impressed by the dressing up box and we men loved the darts, pool table and other manly stuff!All in all I can highly recommend this property to everybody.
