“This hotel is located in a narrow street filled with several bars and restaurants. It is perfect if you would like to go out to eat. But the noise from outside is quite significant . Our room was on the second floor, just above the bars/restaurants and we could not sleep until mid night. The room did not have any air conditioning system, except two fans that one of them was broken. We had to close the windows because of the outside noise, so the room was quite hot. I contacted the management……

“Beautiful clean room, very comfortable bed. Room is small, but great location and just what we needed. Lots of amenities like cold water, coffee, tea, soap, etc. breakfast was good and great coffee. It was a bit difficult to get luggage up and down the stairs, probably not a great stay for those with mobility issues. Host communication was excellent.We were there in a heatwave, so room was warm but I think that’s probably not typical. There was a fan to circulate cool air from outside at night.”

“Sehr schönes sauberes Zimmer, super Lage, super Ausblick. Kommunikation und Schlüsselübergabe tadellos. Die Treppe ist etwas steil und schmal aber prinzipiell kein Problem. Gemeinschaftsküche im Erdgeschoss vollkommen ausreichend, die „Terasse“ ist der Bürgersteig vor dem Haus… aber so wird‘s gemacht in Amsterdam. Haben uns immer gefragt wie man wohl wohnt in den schmalen Häusern der Grachtengegend, jetzt wissen wir es und haben es sehr genossen. Vielen Dank.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mercedes BnB. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming, the studio was clean and well stocked, and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast at the cafe around the corner was a delightful bonus. The location is fantastic, really close to restaurants and attractions. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the amazing city of Amsterdam.”

" 【阿姆斯特丹住宿真心話：帶媽媽入住的真實觀察】 這次帶媽媽來阿姆斯特丹，為了省點長途旅費，選了這家設計感很強的飯店。住完後有些「真心話」想給帶長輩或大行李的朋友參考： ● 先說我很在意的點（入住前要考量自身的需求）： * 交通是場體力活：從中央車站搭船過來很快（5分鐘），但下船後的路才是挑戰。一般人走可能 8 -10分鐘，但我一個人拖著自己和媽媽的兩個大行李，足足走了快 15 分鐘。雖然有捷運，但最近的站也要走 7 分鐘，而且捷運費超貴（搭一站台幣近百元），算下來走路省錢但真的是體力活。 * 不是青旅：這裡沒有廚房、沒有冰箱，想自己煮麵或冰東西都沒辦法的 * 喝熱水很不方便：房內沒水壺，想喝熱水得跑去櫃檯要，對習慣喝溫水的長輩可能不太方便。 * 衛浴衛生考驗：我們住的是超大共用空間（約 40-50 人男女共用厠所及浴室，剛開始不太習慣，但後來就習慣了），雖然早上打掃很乾淨，但到了傍晚使用量大，洗手台常有頭髮、大家的衛生習慣不同，馬桶有些紙張鋪在坐墊上，甚至阻塞。 * 寄行李要額外收費：寄放行李收費不便宜（24小時約 € 8。 ● 值得稱讚的優點： * 店員超級和善：這點大加分！我有寫信告知媽媽年紀大，需要安排下鋪，還讓兩點到的我們先進房。 * 床鋪很紮實：木頭隔層非常結實，雖然同房人多，但睡起來很穩、沒什麼噪音，床墊、棉被非常乾淨。 * 環境佈置很有巧思：公共空間佈置得非常優美，待在裡面聊天或吃早餐真的很享受。 總結： 適合行李輕便、體力好、不打算在飯店開伙的旅人。如果你帶長輩又拖大行李，這段路真的會讓你很有感，訂房前要評估一下體力喔！ Summary (EN): The hotel is artistically stunning and the staff is incredibly kind (helped my elderly mom with a lower bunk!). NO kitchen, NO fridge, NO kettle (must get hot water from the bar). Shared bathrooms for 40-50 people get messy by evening. Best for backpackers with light luggage! "
