"The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made us feel the ultimate Japanese hospitality. We had dinner alone in a room and then breakfast alone in another room. Though there are other guests, we really felt we had the hotel facility including onsen for our own. The guests can also use private onsen room for free without reservations. The mountain View from the outdoor onsen was really beautiful. The location of the hotel, Fukuji onsen, is really quiet. It’s also quite central if you plan to visit all 5 onsen towns of Okuhida Onsengo."
