Yechon Vacation Packages
Yechon is situated about 100 miles (161 kilometers) southeast of Seoul, the national capital, and approximately 110 miles (177 kilometers) south of Sokcho.
Of course, there's so much more to North Gyeongsang than Yechon alone, so be sure to set aside enough time to delve into this region's cities, attractions and landscapes. Danyang, is 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the south, while Jicheon can be found 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the southeast.
Get some transportation spend some time in Daegu, a retail and transport hub for the region, situated about 55 miles (89 kilometers) from Yechon. This bigger city has a range of attractions, such as Daegu National Museum, Kyungpook National University and Gatbawi Seokjoyeoraejwasang. Duryu Park Stadium, Gayasan National Park and Donghwasa are other good spots to visit.
North Gyeongsang offers travelers some significant temples and other places of worship, great places to get a taste of the region's gentler side. Discover the region's rich cultural fabric within North Gyeongsang's great nature museums and history museums.
If you are after a break from seeing the sights, why not try a local watersport? Swimming and boating are both well-established here. See a side of the region many visitors will never see by joining a passionate local guide on one of the city walking tours.
If you plan on traveling by plane, it's good to remember that the closest major airport is Daegu International Airport, 55 miles (89 kilometers) to the south of Yechon.
