Totally not what we expected and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. I is off the beaten path (several miles of dirt roads to get there (normal for the Az. area), but once there the owners were very hospitable, friendly and service oriented. The don't have a liquor license but you can take your own if you wish. We were there just for the night but look to return when we can stay a few days. Their food was good but you have to eat there since Kingman is the closest town and it is about an hour away or Lake Havasu City is the other direction and it is 45 minutes to an hour drive from the ranch.
Exceeded our expectations!! I took my eight-year-old daughter she was absolutely amazed with the beautiful views the hospitality and how genuine the western feel was.
We had a lovely stay at Stagecoach. We went on two rides a day, mostly with the same horses, and cantering through the desert is certainly a highlight of our vacation. There were plenty of activities to do while we were there (eg ATV instead of riding) and my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!
This place is for horseback riding and nothing else. The other amenities are not very good. Took my daughter here because they also advertised archery, which consisted of 2 very old bows and 5 busted up arrows. The rooms are nice lots of hot water, the beds and pillows are crappy and probably original. So maybe 20 years old. The food is good but very plain. Because it was so expensive $2700 CAD or $2200 USD for 4 nights will not go back.
We had an amazing adventure! The staff were EXCELLENT hosts. We had the Duke room. It was clean and had plenty of towels and extra linens(as guests rooms aren't cleaned daily, but it's a Ranch so, that's what you do, make ur own bed). No tv in the room, and my fiancé as big of a sports fan as he is, didn't even mind! Our guide was Dallas and he delivered!!! They even fried up the rattlesnake for us! Dallas handmade a gun holster with the rattlesnake skin...it was quite the memory we made. Thank you JP & Trish and the rest of the ranch hands. We will be back!
Greeted and welcomed with a tour. Friendly staff and soon learned their names. Went to relax and ride. Only 1 other guest at the time, so not able to keep busy as I expected. Food prepared on time and each day was a wide selection of tasty meals/
