"I got the room for $40 bucks and you cant beat that. They had an EV charger level 2 there that costs 40 cents a kwh to use and that was convenient. The crappy coffee was really good. For the money it was the bargain of the trip a real windfall."
"We needed a stay that was dog friendly for purposes of meeting up with family at Knoebels. The ride to Knoebels was a breeze, 15-20 min. Place was easy to check in, clean, easy parking out front, working AC units in all rooms. Fenced in back yard was a plus, and the town park is a very short walk away for dog walking. Comfortable and quiet. If you're taller than six feet tall, watch your head on the stairs, lol. "
"I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical at first choosing this hole because of other reviews I read online. Especially the reviews regarding the construction happening throughout the hotel. However, the experience I had was not like an experience that I read. The room I was in was clean, modern and updated. I was pleasantly greeting by the TV. The pool was clean and upkept. The breakfast was good every day. I can’t complain at all! I would definitely stay here again. "

"The stay was amazing!! The beds were soft, and there was good sound insulation between rooms. The property is well maintained. It was a very private locations and the kids loved kayaking on the private lake! Awesome coffee bar which was well stocked. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. "

"This was a perfect little get away as I did some family history exploration in the valley. Great little general stores in the villages and good food at Kempton Hotel bar/restaurant. The carriage house has such a peaceful vibe and beautiful views of the valley/mountains. Hosts were lovely. Would love to stay again!"
"We stayed at the Way-Har cottage as our son had a baseball tournament nearby. I especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen to be able to cook meals. The farm fresh milk and cupcakes they left for us was so kind! They were delicious. The beds were very comfortable. Our boys loved walking to the farm to see the animals and barn cats. "We stayed here for the weekend. We came up for a concert and a day at hershey park. Our kids are 3, 8, 20 and 21, and we all enjoyed our stay, from the electric game table to smores at the firepit. If you have a group of more than 3 bring chairs for out back. "

We booked this trip from July 3–6 to celebrate my daughter’s graduation, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing from the start.We had a few questions before arrival, so we reached out to the owner via the VRBO app—no response. I then called, but her voicemail was full, so I couldn’t leave a message. I also sent a text and got no reply. My wife tried calling as well, with no success, and eventually received a text from the owner saying:"I am very sorry I do not have access to the app. I am fully booked up to August. I have no way of managing or removing my listing as access was blocked by VRBO."This raises serious concerns:If the owner has been blocked from accessing the platform, why is this property still listed and bookable on VRBO?Why is VRBO charging for a rental that should not have been available in the first place?If what the owner is saying is untrue, that’s also deeply concerning.Either way, this is unacceptable. We expected a reliable listing and clear communication but received neither. I strongly urge others to verify listings with VRBO directly before booking.At minimum, VRBO needs to investigate this listing and ensure other travelers don’t run into the same issue.We got our money back, but we had to speak to 3 people from VRBO to get quality customer services. This ruined our planned vacation. "
