“Very nice resort, great pool and hot tub.Room was very clean and had a complete kitchen. The game room was decent, but nothing to write home about. Only issue was the coffee maker did not have the pot to go with it. I had to put my cup under the spout and push up against the coffee maker nozzle with my fingers to coax the hot coffee to come out! HOT coffee which my fingers didn’t enjoy.”

“The staff here is exemplary. Although this hotel is 25 minute drive, the drive was pleasant with great restaurants nearby. The breakfast had no hot options. ”

“This was my fifth year staying here for my September vacation. Rooms are spotless staff is very attentive. I plan on recording next year if not sooner. “I was only here for 1 night but it was a lovely experience. The staff is very nice and answered all my curious questions, the VIEW is one of the best you’ll find in the Catskills. The air purifier and sound machine in the room was a very nice touch! Things I have at home so nice to have at a spot away! ”

“Black Bear lodge is a great getaway and excellent base to explore the area as it’s so central. We had excellent communication ahead of our check in, a real warm welcome and helpful with dining tips. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lodge is just off the main road but if we heard a car we didn’t notice, it’s so quiet around there.
