“After many attemps to make contact on the day of arrival via cobtact number and whats app eventually got some communication. I was told at 2pm on day of arrival(5pm check in) that the appartment was o longer available due to previous occupier causing damage which could not be rectified. Had a exact review not so long ago. Poor communication but managed to sort alternative accomadation so break was not ruined. Be cautious”

“Checkin was a pain as we didn’t have a local SIM card. The unit was great, room to spread out, nice and clean, pubs nearby and inside the blue plaque trail.”

“Not worth the asking price. The location is great, you're in the marina and you've got lots of shops and restaurants around you however the apartment itself had some issues. The kettle we had there did not work as it had a massive crack in the bottom which ment it, the blinds in the living room had several pieces missing and the blinds in the bedroom were not the right size for the window meaning that you could see out of the window when lying down which made sleeping hard when there's a……

“When we arrived there was no heating and no hot water. Property had been empty before and it was cold to the core. Ther was no instructions on how to switch on the heating (electric heaters with time setting) and no instructions for hot water. We eventually got a message 6 hours after checkin with a picture to show where to switch on the water heater. Main heater in the bedroom was never fixed - engineer was booked but never arrived. Portable heater on full all day can't be safe?”

“We had a night of absolute luxury in this recently restored house and garden. We were full of admiration for the achievements of the couple who own it and would love to visit again later to see the final steps, and to see the garden again as it grows and develops. The food and service were second to none.”
