“This hotel completely ruined my expectations because I paid a very high price of $450 per night, and it was absolutely not worth the money. The food is terrible, the room is old, and even though it’s an all-inclusive hotel, the minibar in the room was completely empty. The hotel is also very boring, and the entertainment is awful — they keep doing the same things over and over again.
The only good things about the hotel are its location and the pool. Other than that, everything is……
“Property is beautiful but there is no swimmable beach. They have a shuttle to another resort but they only do it twice a day, You have to pay $10 each but it is consummable, You can use the chairs and umbrellas but by the time you get there after 11 they are all occupied, if you don’t care about the beach then its ok. They have a nice pool and a jetty.”
“Everything was perfect... Manager Maria and other staff were very helpful and kind, they helped us arrange every transportation we need and the tour to Prison Island & Stone Town. Beautiful beautiful bungalow and well-maintained. Awesome experience that you won't regret staying in, very reasonable price and I will definitely come back to this resort if I visit Zanzibar again...

“My wife and I found a little bit of paradise at Royal Mandarin Resort! Very very nice property. We booked this room for five nights following our Serengeti Safari in the hope of some beach relaxation. We got that and so much more!”
