One very confusing experience is they never mentioned an actual couple lives on-site and are the hosts. They came by when we got there and were very kind and accommodating. It just would have been helpful to know they would be there. The listing said it was entirely self check-in. ”

“The house has a heated pool, which allowed us to swim and sunbathe! Although the house also has air conditioning, nothing beats lighting the fireplace and spending some time chatting! Excellent architecture and decoration. Perfect location, in the countryside near the wonderful beaches. The hosts were very friendly and dedicated. We will return again and I recommend it to everyone looking for an ideal place to relax!”

“The most beautiful property. The house is sooo beautiful! The room was very spacious as was the bathroom and super clean ! The air conditioning worked great ! The pool and the lounge chairs were great to spend the hot days cooling off. Beautiful views If the Alentejo and there was even sheep on the property ❤️! It was such a peaceful place but only 10 minutes from a small town with everything you needed . Porto covo and vila nova de milfontes with their beautiful beaches and traditional Alentejo……
