The definition of La Dolce Vita is the good life, full of pleasure and indulgence which is certainly true of this gem of a home.
Gather around the farmhouse dining table, fireplace, enjoy the beautiful waterfront view and make memories sure to last a lifetime!
It has 3 bedrooms, 2 queen beds and one bedroom with twin beds.
There is also a day bed in living area with a twin mattress to sleep, curl up with a book or just enjoy the spectacular view. An inflatable queen mattress to accommodate 2 more guests is available. Will sleep up to 10.
Enjoy early morning coffee, grilling or just relaxing on this beautiful deck will be sure to make for a great time with family and friends.
There is a boat slip for guests use in this beautiful cove. along with paddle boards provided for guests use.
The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, appliances and extras to make the chef in your family happy.
It also has marble counter tops, farmhouse sink with dishwasher, gas stove and refrigerator.
Washer and dryer are located behind barn doors off the kitchen.
It is great for fishing, swimming, boating or just floating in the calm water with a cold beverage.
This home has just recently been totally gutted and rebuilt fresh to make for the best use of space. You instantly relax as soon as you walk in and take in the plush, relaxing interior. This home will sure to become a favorite of many families who visit.

Perfect lake getaway!
This was the perfect lake getaway for our family of four. The house was clean and well supplied in every area. We enjoyed spending time on the dock and using the paddle boards. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Such a great place - we would definitely come back!!

Really great cove
The place was really nice. Great neighborhood. Host was really available and accommodating. Modern/Updated. Great views. We boated around from Scissortail, anchored and swam in the cove. Very protected cove. Follow the host's directions, not your GPS 😊! She's right about the low road! And don't go down and around the hairpin either...as my GPS first suggested.

We had a wonderful time! Gloria had the home clean and stocked with LOTS of items including plenty of towels, seasonings, kitchen items even ziplock bags, foil, etc. I was pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed fishing, swimming, and relaxing!

Great Experience at Grand Lake
Our family of 7 had a great time at Grand Lake. The house had incredible views of the lake, a private slip for our boat, and was very nicely appointed. Gloria was great to work with, even allowing us to store our boat trailer at their personal residence. Highly recommended!

Weekend Paradise at La Dolce Vita
We spent a long weekend with friends at La Dolce Vita. The house was lovely with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked with basic spices and other nice amenities. The back deck is a great place for relaxing with your morning coffee. We spent one day swimming off the dock and the next day we rented a pontoon boat at Duck Creek Boat Rental and spent the afternoon on the lake. Can’t wait to come back to this little piece of paradise on Grand Lake.

Amazing House!
House was incredible! Host goes above and beyond with amenities. Small appliances, kitchenware, soap/shampoo - it was as if we were home. Decor fit property very well, and all was comfortable. We slept like rocks on the bed. Open concept allowed traffic to flow all through the house and deck. We were very pleased!

To sum everything up in a word… Amazing!
My sister, our parents and their dog wanted a place to go away from the hustle and bustle of our lives and we found it here. The view was breathtaking! We loved just sitting inside looking at the water and watching boats go by. The huge windows were so clean that you felt like you were outside. We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy each other’s company and we certainly found it here as this lovely home had the most serene atmosphere you could ask for. We also watched the squirrels play and we even saw a red fox and raccoon. My sister travels a lot and mentioned that this home was the best stocked home she has ever seen. There are two coffee pots (Keurig and drip), toaster, blender, washer, dryer, games, nice dishes, pots and pans. We only had to supply the food. Gloria was a gracious host and I cannot say enough nice things about the house and Gloria. We will definitely be back!

Adorable home on the water!
The house was beautiful and had everything available for us. The only slight issue we had was that the house was not cleaned when we got there due to the host having a emergency. She called after we arrived to apologize and sent someone to pick it up and said she would make it right with us. Overall the house was wonderful and updated. Close to the water. The directions given were great and the host was very nice. We had a wonderful girls weekend. :)

Cleanest, most well stocked property ever
The home is just as portrayed in the photographs. It was spotless clean and thoroughly supplied--kitchen utensils, appliances, paper products--everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable, tightly made up like a 5-star hotel. One thing that was not clear. It's 3 bedrooms for 6 people. A sofa/bed in the living area is for the other 2, for a total of 8. Or maybe 1 for a total of 7. That person will get lots of light in the morning! We put two kids on the floor in that area. I made some suggestions on arrival directions, and GPS seems to depend on which service you use, Google or Apple maps. If Gloria updates to what I wrote her, future guests should do well. Gloria responded very quickly to texts and phone calls. Temperatures were chilly for us in March. Still, fish were biting from the dock. We strongly recommend the Rancho Viejo Mexican restaurant about 30 minutes away. Large portions, very reasonably priced! We'd love to go back here when things are green and growing. Beautiful spot.

Fantastic, Quiet Stay for Three (plus dog)
We had an extremely relaxing stay at La Dolce Vita for several quiet days in February. Gloria, the host, was extremely responsive and fixed our one very minor issue in seconds over the phone. We appreciated the Mardi Gras treats and fruit she left for us. What a thoughtful and kind touch! Additionally, the house was spotless and well-stocked. There were plenty of clean, fresh-smelling linens, and we found everything we needed in the kitchen (including a sharp knife, which is almost unheard of in home rentals)! We greatly appreciated all the attention to detail. One minor issue IF you're traveling with someone who has limited mobility and/or difficulty with balance (but is not wheelchair bound): the house is all on one level with step-in showers, which is excellent. However, there are several rocky steps from the driveway to the front door. This wouldn't be particularly difficult to deal with, except there is no handrail on either set of stairs. Because of this, getting in and out of the house was a bit scary for my elderly father (and me). A cane and using another person for support were both critical. Obviously, this isn't an issue for many people though! We highly recommend this cozy house. We spent the week cooking, bird watching, reading, walking the dog, and enjoying the quiet!
