The property was older but kept nice. The rooms were clean, friendly staff, and breakfast was good at the restaurant next door. Will stay there again if in Alamosa again.
The stay was perfect . I travelled with a family of 4 and had a comfortable stay . The staff was exceptional. Keep in mind The check in time is only till 10pm
Charming motel with immaculately clean, spacious rooms and everything you need! Friendly, helpful staff and a great downtown location next to a fantastic Chinese restaurant, just five minutes from the airport. A wonderful bonus is the complimentary, freshly prepared breakfast for each guest, not your typical continental breakfast! This will definitely be my go-to when visiting family!
What a gem! Reasonable rates, clean and comfortable rooms, made-to-order breakfast, super friendly staff! We would stay here anytime we're in the San Luis Valley.
An excellent breakfast at the local cafe is included with the rooms. The room was clean and bigger than I expected. The rooms had a bit of an old smell, but we had beautiful weather and just cracked the window open.
Good location in downtown Alamosa, near to several restaurants. Breakfast was a bit average and overall the property is quite dated. The towels were also very thin.
The hotel has a great location near downtown Alamosa. Our room was comfortable, spacious and attractive. We got breakfast vouchers to use at a nextdoor cafe.
I was quite happy with the Dunes. Motel accommodations that achieve retro cool without really trying. A real Schlage key on a plastic diamond-shaped motel fob straight out of 1972. The room was dated and smaller than most modern chains, but the fixtures and furnishings were in good shape and the room was clean, safe, and comfortable. Super handy to have a real cafe breakfast on premise.
Staff was friendly and accommodating, too. I will be returning every time I visit Alamosa!
Parking was easy, room clean, bed comfy, could hear TV in room next to us. Breakfast was at Cafe right there. Gave you tickets for breakfast with 5 different choices of meals. Very good.
Extremely spacious and clean room. Free. breakfast at nearby diner (1 min walk). Ample parking. Friendly front desk staff. Great value - would stay here again!
Look, I'm pretty easy to please. If the place is safe to sleep and clean up at, I'm happy. Easy check-in/check-out . Dunes Inn was perfect for a 1-day stop on my road trip (I always book in advance). I woke up the next morning refreshed. Breakfast was available (disclosure: I skip breakfast, so I cannot comment on it, but from what I saw, I couldn't complain).
