A beautiful place to stay! Caroline and Paul were so friendly and welcoming.Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need!We had a lovely, relaxing break, the bed was very comfortable and the cottage was warm and cosy. The surrounding area was beautiful and it was nice to be close to Alcester so we could just wander down and have a meal and a little wander.
The cottage is a great base for exploring the north Cotswolds area. Just a 10 minute walk away from pubs and shops too.
Caroline and Paul were helpful and friendly hosts who provided local recommendations.
Would recommend a stay at this property.
We were lucky enough to stay at Caroline & Paul's traditional English cottage. It is in a tranquil setting with a beautiful garden and access to a river on the property. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. It has everything you need for a wonderful stay..
Caroline and Paul are the perfect hosts..welcoming, informative and knowledgeable about things to do and places to see. We had a wonderful time in a very comfortable and well appointed cottage. The location was a good location for exploring the Cotswolds.
Lovely apartment in the grounds of a beautiful listed building. The hosts were very welcoming. The parking was easy. There was a lovely local walk and several others within a short driving distance. The journey into Stratford was easy. We were there for a relaxing holiday and had a great time in this very tranquil spot.
Clean, comfortable cottage with everything you could need for a home away from home stay.
Caroline and Paul were friendly and welcoming. Peaceful location but just 10 mins walk to shops and pubs. Would highly recommend.
Really good. Everything there. My first time in self catering will do it again. Supermarket 10 mins away in a nice town. Would like to stay again soon.
We had a lovely time at Heronview. The accommodation was brilliant just right for the two of us. Our hosts were great and it was good to meet the dogs and bantems. Its such a peaceful spot by the river. The area is lovely ideal for walks and Alcester is very picturesque. Its a great spot for visiting the surrounding area like Stratford-upon-Avon and Evesham. We look forward to visiting again.
A great, cozy cottage, with everything you could wish for. Caroline and Paul made us feel at home, the facilities were excellent. We will be going back next visit to the Midlands. Highly recommended.
Paul and Caroline lovely people made me feel so welcome. Cottage clean everything you need little village so sweet. I had a wonderfull stay will be one of the highlights of my trip.
Loved it! Caroline and Paul were just lovely and never intrusive. The cottage was small and perfect for two. It was very clean as well.
The garden was gorgeous and as we had good weather ideal to chill with a book. The location was spot on just a short walk to Alcester.
The property was as described. It was very good. Visited a number NT and EH destinations all within 1 hour drive of the property. Stratford upon Avon only an 8 mile for the RSC.
We had a lovely 3 night break on our way to Manchester. Heron's View is very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting in the gazebo at the end of the garden, looking out over the river. We took our breakfast down there as well as tea! The hosts were very welcoming and provided milk and also eggs freshly laid by their bantam hens. It is perfectly placed ro visit Stratford on Avon and various country houses. Highly recommend.
Absolutely delightful cottage in a quiet lane, just 10 minutes walk from the High Street.
Super comfy, enormous bed, Sky TV, a wide selection of books and an open-plan kitchen with everything required. Unable to fault this lovely rental. Many thanks to Caroline and Paul. We loved it! :)
We loved the place! The hosts were beyond welcoming and kind. They made sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place for the middle of our trip. Sitting in the back yard, watching the chickens, listening to the river run past was so relaxing. The hectic, "on holiday" mode was replaced with peace and relaxation. There's a grocery store nearby, so it was nice to make a salad and eat at "home." We would definitely stay here again.
